Excel: Creating Spreadsheets
In this workshop, participants are introduced to MS Excel, a spreadsheet program that allows users to organize and analyze numeric information using a grid of columns and rows. Participants learn how to create simple Excel worksheets, how to change the appearance of the worksheet by applying various formatting options, how to enter formulas into the worksheet, how to use basic formula functions within the worksheet, and more.
Excel: Charts
Simple, well-designed charts are effective communication tools. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create pie charts, line charts, and column charts from Excel worksheets.

Participants in this workshop learn how to remotely connect to a Windows XP Pro computer, download and install the client portion of the Virtual Private Network, connect to the ETSU VPN from an off campus location, and more.

In this introductory course on using Blackboard. Students are introduced to the various capabilities of the Blackboard course management system and how it can be used to facilitate online learning.
Blackboard: Managing Course Materials
Participants learn how to add different types of content (documents, audio, video, PowerPoint presentations, etc) to their Blackboard site. Participants also learn how to use Blackboard’s Adaptive Release feature to release materials to students who meet certain criteria.
