Franklin Square Redesign

Using an open-source Wordpress theme as the basis of my design, I rebuilt the Franklin Square website to make it easier for visitors to find information about the stores in the center. The home page includes a section for news items and another that showcases a new featured store each month. The template also has a section that displays images of the shopping center.

Help Ticket Application

I created this simple application to help me maintain a list of individuals I work with on a daily basis. I built it in Flash and used MDM Zinc to package the application and add some extra features not available in actionscript. The projector is small enough to leave open (especially when you’re using multiple monitors) and makes it easy to quickly enter the names and contact information for individuals as I work with them.

I had a couple studio strobes and a white background setup in the basement this weekend for a small product shoot and decided to grab a few shots of some of my old photography projects.
I’ve always been interested in a photograph’s ability to tell (or suggest) a story and feel that several of these images really succeed in that area. In most of these pieces, I started with a traditional print, either silver gelatin or color, and cut the image into pieces using a knife.

I created these conference displays using Adobe Photoshop.
I worked with Dr. Robin Lennon-Dearing to convert existing presentation materials into this display for a national conference.

I worked with Dr. David Cecil to create the three-panel display used for conferences and at recruiting events.

Working with Apple, East Tennessee State University’s web manager, and others, I helped launch and maintain ETSU’s iTunes-U site. ETSU’s launch was one of the first successful implementations in the Southeast, and members of my department assisted other institutions develop their podcasting programs.
